Getting started

  1. Create an account and verify that your country, region, currency, and distance units are correct.
  2. Configure Driver Preferences, Vehicle Cost, and Expenses before relying on Live Calculator estimates.
  3. Revisit costs whenever fuel prices, insurance, maintenance, or your driving pattern changes.

Understand the calculators

Free Offer Calculator

Use it for a quick, unsaved estimate. Its calculator inputs are not intentionally saved as account records or analytics contributions.

Vehicle Cost

Use realistic purchase, resale, maintenance, fuel-economy, and fuel-price values. Unrealistic assumptions will produce unrealistic per-distance costs.

Expenses

Include recurring business overhead and use a defensible business-use percentage for shared expenses such as phone service. See How operating costs and Live Offer results are calculated for every formula and assumption.

Evaluate live offers

  1. Enter the offered payout, estimated distance, and estimated time.
  2. Add expected unpaid return driving, extra minutes, and offer-specific costs when applicable.
  3. Review net hourly and net per-distance results-not just gross payout.
  4. Record whether you accepted or declined so your offer history remains useful.
Never operate KeenGig while driving.

Do not type, tap, or manually take a screenshot while the vehicle is moving. No offer is worth a crash, injury, ticket, or distracted-driving violation.

A safer offer workflow

  1. While moving: Do not interact with KeenGig. Decide without handling the phone, or let the offer pass.
  2. Preserve details only when safe: If you are already stopped, take a screenshot before the offer disappears. A genuinely hands-free device feature may also be appropriate where permitted, but do not assume a voice command makes every interaction safe or legal.
  3. After accepting: Continue to the pickup without using KeenGig.
  4. At the pickup: Park safely, enter the saved offer information into Live Calculator, and then start the timeclock.
  5. Before moving again: Put the device down and return your attention to driving.

The calculation performed after acceptance is useful for recordkeeping and learning. It should never delay or replace a safe, independent decision.

Keep useful records

Complete accepted offers with the final payout, active distance, and unpaid distance. Review entries for errors before using them in income, expense, or year-end reports. KeenGig estimates are not tax records unless they satisfy the requirements that apply to you.

Account and billing

KeenGig account tools are currently free during public beta. No credit card is required for beta access and joining the beta does not automatically enroll you in future paid service. If you already have a Stripe subscription, use Membership to manage or cancel it.

Outputs depend on your inputs, assumptions, and available market data. Verify important decisions independently. KeenGig does not provide tax, legal, financial, accounting, insurance, employment, safety, or vehicle-maintenance advice.
