Based on our current assessment, our core services are not directly affected by these specific vulnerabilities.

October 24, 2026

At KeenGig, protecting our users' information and maintaining the security of our services are fundamental priorities.

On October 21, 2026, critical security vulnerabilities affecting PHP, a widely used technology powering websites and online services, were publicly disclosed. These vulnerabilities, collectively known as *PHP2Shell* (CVE-2026-109618 and CVE-2026-109619), have prompted security advisories and urgent remediation efforts across the technology industry.

We want to reassure our community that KeenGig is aware of these vulnerabilities and has reviewed our platform's potential exposure.

Is KeenGig Affected?

KeenGig's core application infrastructure does not rely on the affected PHP runtime. Based on our current assessment, our core services are not directly affected by these specific vulnerabilities.

We continue to monitor emerging security threats and evaluate their potential impact on our services.

How We Protect Your Information

Security and user privacy are important considerations in how KeenGig operates.

Our approach includes:

- Encryption in transit: We use encrypted connections to protect information transmitted between users and our services.
- Encryption at rest: Our data protection practices include encryption for stored database information.
- Access controls: Administrative access and sensitive operations are restricted through security controls.
- Security monitoring: We review potential threats, suspicious activity, and relevant security advisories.
- Data privacy: We are committed to protecting user information and do not sell our users' personal data.

For security reasons, we do not publicly disclose specific infrastructure configurations or internal security procedures.

Our Ongoing Commitment

No online service can guarantee absolute security. Protecting user information requires continuous attention, responsible engineering, and a willingness to respond quickly as new vulnerabilities emerge.

We remain committed to maintaining a secure, dependable platform while providing our community with meaningful updates about issues that may affect our services.

At this time, our assessment has not identified a direct impact on KeenGig's core services from the PHP2Shell vulnerabilities.

Thank you for trusting KeenGig.
